My approach as an education, workforce, and youth-centered organization consultant is to cultivate deep authenticity – to learn by doing, and build durable client relationships by taking on a small number of projects each year in which I have both domain expertise and demonstrable experience. Elevating youth voice and agency in underserved communities is a unifying theme in all of my work.
Program Design, Implementation, & Evaluation
Using the principles of liberatory design, I work with K16 education partners serving under-resourced student populations to design intervention and specialized learning programs. I also develop implementation systems, and data and measurement instruments to measure program efficacy so stakeholders know whether their programs are working.
Entrepreneurship & Employment Ecosystem Building
I work with schools, employers, and economic development departments to design and deliver curriculum and training that catalyzes innovation in urban communities and develops durable skills, especially with transition-age youth. This includes helping employers better engage and harness the talents of their Gen Z workforce through targeted training and mentorship.
Social Impact & Nonprofit Strategy Consulting
I provide high-level strategic support to social enterprises and nonprofit organizations re/designing how they impact their communities. This includes formulating theories of change, business planning and modeling to diversify revenue streams, developing a stronger volunteer workforce, and streamlining existing processes and systems to maximize value.
